You don't not know how to sew. You just haven't been shown.

We believe sewing is something anyone can learn. You don't need to be naturally creative, have years of experience, or know what you're doing before you begin — sometimes, you just need someone to show you how. The Wild Pansy Community is a space to learn at your own pace, with step-by-step projects, patterns, tutorials and a community of people learning alongside you. Start with the basics, make something you're proud of, ask questions, make mistakes and try again. Because you were never someone who couldn't sew — you just hadn't been shown yet.

Whether you've never touched a sewing machine before or you've been making for years, you're welcome here. Come to learn something new, make something with your own hands, express yourself and connect with a community of people doing the same.

Sewing Workshops + Group Classes

Want to learn to sew, but don't know where to start? Our sewing workshops are relaxed, hands-on classes held in person, designed to help you build confidence and learn practical skills in a supportive environment.

Whether you're new to sewing or looking to develop your existing skills, you'll learn practical techniques, work with your own hands at your own pace and leave with something you can use, wear or keep making from.

No Sewing Machine or previous experience needed.

Private Classes

Want a little more one-on-one time? Private sewing classes are in-person sessions tailored to you, your experience and what you want to learn.

Whether you're starting from scratch, working on a particular garment, wanting to understand your sewing machine or looking to develop a specific skill, we'll work together to make sure you get what you need from your time with Wild Pansy.
